What actually happens to a booking after 6pm

A 40-room boutique hotel loses an average of 1.3 booking inquiries per night after 6pm, when the front desk is understaffed. Over a year, that is roughly 470 potentially lost opportunities. Most hoteliers know this problem intuitively, but few have a structured way to capture and qualify that demand.

The recovery system

We built an AI agent that monitors after-hours inquiries, qualifies them against a structured set of criteria, responds within 5 minutes, and syncs all interactions back to the PMS. The agent works within the hotel's existing brand voice and escalation protocols. No new interface, no new tool, just a system that operates reliably without requiring a dedicated technical hire.
